Are Donations to Sysnative Charitable Deductions under U.S. Tax Laws?

Hi. I'm a retired computer software architect, designer and developer who worked extensively in OS 360, Windows and Unix software design and development. I'm working a problem in the Windows Update forum now and just donated to Sysnative. However, nowhere in the donation process, not anywhere else I can find, is the issue of U.S. tax deductibility discussed. Anybody know if I can deduct this contribution on my 2019 Federal Income Tax filing next year?

Thanks.

First of all, THANK YOU very much for your donation to the forum. It is very much appreciated.

I would be inclined to say that you likely can deduct the contribution; however, please note that Sysnative Forums is not currently a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Also, we are not a for-profit C-corporation nor are we a C-corporation that has made a Subchapter S-corporation election, either.
