This is a hosted cloud server. I have tried the various fixes from Microsoft. SFC, and DISM to fix any file and catalog issues, and didn't find any. I also tried installing the updates in the specific order recommended by Microsoft.
I get to about 9% and the Server restarts and rolls back the update. I should mention that it is a hosted server.
I see this message a few times in the CBS log:
HRESULT = 0x800f0805 - CBS_E_INVALID_PACKAGE
I'm about to yank my hair out. This is not an issue om any of our other servers. I've been living with this for some time but need to fix it to install updates required by other software before I can update it
