My wife and I are from the US, currently living in Guilin, China. She's teaching English to university students here, and I'm retired from computer programming, and landscaping.

Wow! What amazing opportunities you have. There is just so much history in China most in "the West" don't know about. I hope you are "free" to explore and visit the ancient historical sites without restrictions.

Yes....like all the pyramids they have and buried so know one knows about them and no access to.
