Hello friends,

I tried installing apache on my laptop (Windows 8.1 x64) but i am getting error regarding "procedure entry point could not be found in pcre.dll". To resolve this, first i did sfc scan then dism and then SFCFix.

CBS log file indicated "2020-08-15 18:50:53, Info CSI 0000000b Hashes for file member \SystemRoot\WinSxS\amd64_prncacla.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16384_none_9590ba64d5b91f79\Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB do not match actual file [l:36{18}]"Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB" :
Found: {l:32 b:5lZjnEFGuk/eKvIRPXi8LFwT/yVe78gXqDsjL0NSpWA=} Expected: {l:32 b:n520k714Uu3utHa5JGQ6HQYbZphKhlMWq5pEmfnCDuw=}

which seemed to be resolved with sfcfix "FIXED: Performed DISM repair on file Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB of version 6.3.9600.16384."

but unfortunately problem is not resolved. When i searched for this, i found exactly same thread on this forum. Link

I have attached files as per your guidelines.

Please help to resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Saaish

Thanks a lot PeterJ.

The sfc scan is clear now. Please find attached files.

Can you please extend the help for error which still persists with apache ? "Procedure entry point could not be located in pcre.dll"
It says "the Windows Event Viewer for more clues". So, I have also attached event viewer log in case required.

Thanks,
Saaish

FRST Scan:
  1. Download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:
64-bit: Downloading Farbar Recovery Scan Tool
  2. Right-click to run the tool as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  3. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  4. Press the Scan button.
  5. Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  6. Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

It seems like Windows is not activated or used illegal.
It is against the rules to help people with an illegal operating system or other illegally used programs.

Sorry PeterJ for not ensuing pre-requisites.

I have reran the FRST scan after updating genuine product key for windows. Please find attached files.

Thanks,
Saaish
