So lately my amd drivers would not be detected for some reason. When I try to reinstall it, it says application install: install package failure, but it still continues with the install. The graphic would be fine for a day or so and then all of a sudden it would start saying. No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware.

I have an Asus R510D laptop
AMD A10-5750M APU 2.5 GHz 8GB memory
GPU: Radeon HD 8650G+ 8670M 2 GB.
Windows 10

I have tried running Speccy as advised by another moderator and the graphic cards show up.

I have also tried sfc/ scannow and it shows no errors.

After following instructions for SFCFix this is what the log shows:

SFCFix version 3.0.0.0 by niemiro.

Microsoft Windows 10 Build 14393 - amd64

It doesn't sound like a Windows Update issue but let's check. Please do the following.

Step#1 - DISM /RestoreHealth Scan
Warning:this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Right-click on the Start
    w8start.png
button and select Command Prompt (Admin)
  2. When command prompt opens, Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Right-click > Paste) the following command into it, then press Enter
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  3. Once it finishes, copy and paste the following into the command-prompt window and press Enter. If prompted to overwrite the existing file go ahead.
    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  4. Once this has completed please go to your Desktop and you will find CBS.txt => Please zip/upload to this thread.
Please Note:: if the file is too big (over 7MB) to upload to your next post, please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the link.

As expected there are no Windows Servicing issues. I would go back to your hardware thread and let them know that you are all clear as far as Windows Update/Servicing issues.
