Hi, I'm running Windows Server 2022 21H2 (build:203848.2159). Every month I try to install the cumulative update. It start downloading, installing at 20% and goes straight to 100% and fails.
What I did doing to fix this issue:
1. All the standard command like: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth, etc..
2. Check the size of the recovery partition size and resize it to 1,69 GB.
3. Manual download and install the update.
4. Ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter
5. All kind of the sfc /scannow commands.
6. Clear the Windows Update Cache
At that time I was lost and was trying to do a restore via a inplace upgrade. Because of the lack of the keep files/app,etc. option of a eval installation ISO, I downloaded a ISO from (Windows Server Download | MAS).
Every time I run the installation Wizard, it errors out after it like to reboot. At the installation logs it keeps saying some things like error code: 0x800700B7.
After that I ran into this post:[SOLVED] - Cumulative updates keep failing on new Windows Server 2022 installation and think this is the only thing I can try.
Thanks!
Groeten Max.
