NB Asus PU500CA, after sleep mode don't wake up...
I try to make sfc /scannow, but in CSB.log see this:

No problem, and thank you!

All of the attached DMP files are of the DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f) bug check.

This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state.

If we run an !irp on the 4th parameter of the bug check (blocked IRP address), we get the following:

Code:
>[ 16, 2] 0 e1 fffffa800642b050 00000000 fffff800beb38830-fffffa80105e3f00 Success Error Cancel pending
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\[COLOR=#ff0000][I][B]iaStorA.sys[/B][/I][/COLOR], Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for [COLOR=#ff0000][I][B]iaStorA.sys[/B][/I][/COLOR]
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for [COLOR=#ff0000][I][B]iaStorA.sys[/B][/I][/COLOR]

iaStorA.sys are the Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers. I checked Asus' site because you have a P500CA, but it appears that they are only offering a Wireless and Bluetooth driver. With this said, given you are more than likely not running your hard disk in a RAID config, let's go ahead and uninstall Intel Rapid Storage Technology.

Regards,

Patrick

Are you sure? I don't not believe you, of course, but maybe you missed it? If you go to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, and go to 'i' what iaXXXXX drivers are there?

Regards,

Patrick

Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver
Please do not uninstall the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver. User only could install the new IRST driver directly to update.
(from Asus)

I install new driver, but BSOD is still here...

Hi,

I will let Patrick deal with the BSOD, but I will quickly pop in and fix your SFC issue.

You're now the 7th person to have this issue, and I'm currently investigating the cause behind these repeated errors. As a result, as part of the fix, I will be getting a copy of the corrupt file from your system. Hope you don't mind!

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.txt, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.txt - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.txt.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file and a folder should be created on your Desktop, titled SFCFix.txt and Tekno_Venus respectively.
  8. Copy (Ctrl + C) and Paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of the SFCFix.txt file into your next post for me to analyse please - put [CODE][/CODE] tags around the log to break up the text. Then zip up and attach the Tekno_Venus folder to the post for me to look at please.

SFCFix.txt --> https://www.dropbox.com/s/i4idn448uu33uj3/SFCFix.txt

DISM

  1. Please start an Elevated Command Prompt: How to run an elevated command prompt
  2. Copy and paste in

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    and let it complete.
  3. Upload your CBS folder again

Kind regards,
Stephen

Hmm... it didn't like me :(

I will see if I can work out why that occurred.

Stephen

You're most welcome.

Alright, it can take some time to complete, up to an hour in some cases. Keep me informed :)

Stephen

Please can I have the whole CBS folder? I need to check a few things before I can give you another fix.
