Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.262 Released

A new revision for Adobe’s Flash Player emerged earlier today, and speculations ran that it would fix the crash issues in Firefox, on Windows.

Up until moments ago, the new build, 11.3.300.262, was available only through a small number of download channels and there was no official word from the company about the modifications it brought to the table.

Well what ever the changes are it's now broken on FF for me where it worked up until the latest fix.................

It still hasn't fixed the Flash crashes I've been getting for the last week or so either, another fail.

After updating the version number remained the same and the problem still exists.

Edit: after re-boot the version number changes to the "262" version.

The Flash crash I've hit most consistently over the last week or so is when switching between normal and fullscreen and back again on a live stream or video on the BBC site. I've only seen it in x86 Mozilla -based browsers, others get problems with x64 builds/forks too - but I haven't had any time to exhaustively test all the Mozilla -based browsers I have installed. (I have no Add-ons and only Flash as a plugin and I have tested from a new FX profile and a clean Windows profile with similar results.)

BTW, this Flash update is for non-IE browsers, Flash in IE should remain at the old version level.
