How can I add pseudo-3D to nearly everything to a windows 10 theme based on windows 7 default theme "ideologies"?

I still don't have windows 10 but I intent to upgrade and a close friend already upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10.
Although great, the main complaints we both have is the excess of "flatness" in the design.
These are the annoyances I can remember now that I'd like to circumvent.

  • No shadow in buttons
    • It's hard to determine where the limit between buttons is.
  • If two windows have the same background and they overlap
    • It's hard to know where one ends and the other begins
  • In the taskbar.
    • The icons representing opened windows aren't as easily distinguishable on where each one begins and ends.
  • In most of the UI
    • It's hard to distinguish plain images from images representing an action of the "button" in them.

The list continues...

So far I've been searching the web using google search.
"windows 10 remove flat design"
"windows 10 revert flat design"
"windows 10 3D icons"
"windows 10 look like windows 7"
"windows 10 theme like windows 7"
"windows 10 non-flat like windows 7"
"windows 10 3D feel"
etc...

The answers I get are nearly all about the opposite of it. E.g.
"How to make windows 7 in flat design"

Hmmm, not sure you can do this (yet) because Microsoft is trying to make W10 a universal platform for desktops, notebooks, tablets and phones. And 3D on tiny phone screens does not work well. There are 3D wall papers but not all that you want. I note this was a similar complaint with W8.1. :(
