We need more information about your computer. Does it have integrated BT or a dongle? Are other BT devices already attached?
You would know if integrated or not. A dongle is a separate device that looks similar to a USB memory stick and plugs into a USB port. It would be something you typically added to the computer at some point.
Speccy is decent program to report your system specs. It lets you publish them on line, providing a link you can post here we all can then use to see.
I cannot open that attachment. In Speccy, wait for it to finish analyzing (spinning circle in lower left stops) click File, Publish Snapshot..., then follow the prompts to copy the link here.
Note I just tried mine and it seems their server is down so you might have to wait a little bit.
Or just tell us what it says under Summary.
Okay, according to this it does have built in BT. So you may need to look in ASUS menus to see if disabled. You might also look in Device Manager.
Asking questions is how we learn. The stupid question is the one not asked.
I don't have an ASUS notebook here to check. I note on my Toshiba, there is a menu to access the integrated device. Since Device Manager says it's working, it could just be disable. Since BT saps battery power, it could simply be turned off, perhaps under power options. Airplane mode may disable it too since BT use RF (radio frequency).
I am afraid I don't know what is happening here. Sorry.
I suggest you open an Elevated Command Prompt and enter sfc /scannow in the text box. Note the space before the slash (/). If System File Checker (sfc) finds errors it cannot correct, follow the instructions here to have one of our experts help sort it out.
Note you only need to have one of our SFC experts look if SFC was not able to fix problems it found.Ok, i'll do as you say. I have run sfc /scannow and corrupted files were detected.
