Our review for this week is for Total War Battles: Shogun, a game that was created by The Creative Assembly and was originally designed to move the franchise to mobile devices before it was also ported to the PC.
We also have a Gamer Diary detailing my virtual President election adventures in The Political Machine 2012, the campaign simulation title from Stardock.
We also deliver the Weekend Reading that we’ve accustomed readers with, although there is only one of them this week, dealing with the way Modern Warfare 3 has managed to remain relevant up to the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
And, as always, we also have an EndWeekGame piece dealing with our free gaming time and a selection of the most interesting video game news from the week that was.
On Monday, Firaxis has talked about how special the PC version of XCOM: Enemy Unknown is to the team, while leaked information offered details on the new Promethean enemies for Halo 4.
