Hello there,

Similar to many other users in this forum, I'm encountering a case of "Configuration Registry Database Corrupt". I tried updating the drivers through device management but kept getting the same error, and the same with manually downloading and installing the drivers.

Can someone please help?

I have uploaded my COMPONENTS & DRIVERS files from C:\Windows\System32\config to google drive as I saw from the other posts.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

I tried a fresh install of windows but kept getting an error that installation failed 😣

Sorry I sent the post directly the same way I saw others do, as for the steps here are my results:

Step #1 - Register on the forum: registered already :-)

Step #2 - Run SFC Scan: got "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations"

Step #3 – SURT/DISM Scan: got "The operation completed successfully."

Step #4 - Run SFCFix:
SUMMARY: No corruptions were detected.
AutoAnalysis:: directive completed successfully.

Step #5 – Export/Upload CBS folder:
uploaded the file to my google drive.

and again the DRIVERS file from C:\Windows\System32\config is also uploaded to google drive as I saw from the other posts.

any help is really appreciated.

regards,

I'm trying to solve the issue myself but unfortunately am going nowhere.

I tried formatting the drive (clean windows install - removing all files and apps) using my windows CD but after a while I get an error message that the installation failed too. I even tried all the methods mentioned in the link: Windows Update Database Corruption Error [SOLVED] - Troubleshooter

For some reason now I even lost my internet connection (looks like the network adapter driver is not working any longer) and I'm posting using my phone. My router has no problem and I can access the internet using all my devices except my pc. I tried resetting the network adapter (admin msconfig and troubleshooting) but when it refuses to recognize my ethernet connection as if it's not even connected.

I think my last resort is to get a new SSD drive and install windows from scratch?

In the end I did install a new driver and installed windows from scratch, no need to bother with this I appreciate your efforts everyone
