running win 7 sp1 cannot download security update for kb2871997.

computer was ok for updates the day before.

have previously attached cbs file and used then used system update tool no effect.
next followed Niemiro help no effect.
I am attaching new cbs file and sfcfix.txt file
after looking at several so called fixes on the internet I came across your site.
Any help would be appreciated.

For some reason logs haven't been attached to either of your replies. Do you mean you attached them to your original post, or elsewhere?

To attach a file, go into the advanced post editor (Click Go Advanced) > Click Manage Attachments > Add Files > Select your files and Upload. > Click Done and submit your reply.

You should be able to see if the files are attached to your post after you reply - they'll appear in a separate box at the bottom of the post. If you try the above steps and still have trouble, you can email me the files at willwatts@sysnative.com.

We can help you as soon as we see the files, but without the logs we're just guessing what the issue is.
