Just got my laptop back few weeks ago from a stupid mistake i did. Was saving my cd's back an external drive using iTunes. Other than that, I am avoiding adding anything on it as it's my only way of the outside world. Fell asleep while it was still saving an album, woke up and the screen seemed to be dim. Than i noticed that the start/task bar was a little bigger and different color. It was frozen so i rebooted it, got back to the desktop, got a error message " Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library" Debug Assertion Failed, Progra__ File..\controlhandler.cpp, Line 103.................... Aption to Abort Retry Ignore I"ve tried each on during a reboot. no help. Can not access the system info. have tried to run malwarebytes will not start. Tried "RegSeeker' hoping i could stop or disable Lenovo Enery Management. which i saw on one of the reboots is where it seems to get stuck at. That didn't work, but i was leary of messing around in the registry much. Ran the SysnativeFileCollectionApp and it gets stuck trying to get some info, and will run for hours if i let it. So,........ i was able to get into an event viewer and saved a table. not sure it it will help. also ran a FRST and have those as well.

I have passed both the memory tests and the HDD tests. Was reading the Xbootmgr, not sure if that would be the next step. looks a little complicated, but i started downloading the UBCD (hope if i need it, i can use on a usb) also downloaded win sdksetup? I'll await your directions.

I have read soo many articles and downloaded a lot of utilities. i may have gotten it finally by replacing the entire C++ library. If you can recomend a utility or ? that i can check it with and have you review, i'd greatly appreciate it. thank you

I'd revert back to Home premium you had previously
You have a KMS activation exploit installed, i suspect it will turn non-genuine shortly
