I booted into safe mode and was able to perform the msconfig and then did the clean boot. When I tried to run the update it said it downloaded 11 mb instead of the size of 384 and then gave me 0% both before and after the reboot. It then said update failed reverting. Note: You will need to right-click your mouse and select paste in order to paste into the window.
