[SOLVED] [7SP1 x86] Windows security centre turned off! FIX: CHANGED HDD WITH A SSD

this has been flagged up in my pc. ---can't be started!
When I go into "services.msc" I can't start 'security centre service' I get error 1068 , the dependency service or group failed to start!This has affected many of my programs like 'malawarebytes' fail to connect. Ccleaner crashing on cleaning application. Help wanted please Alex

Click windows Start, type msconfig, press enter, select normal startup, click ok, reboot.







Possible error sentence:
Windows could not start the Security Center service on Local Computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start.
Security Center (wscsvc - wscsvc.dll) dependencies (in 10v1803b17134 x64): Remote Procedure Call (RPC) (rpcss - rpcss.dll).
Remote Procedure Call (RPC) (rpcss - rpcss.dll) dependencies (in 10v1803b17134 x64): RPC Endpoint Mapper (RPCEptmapper - rpcepmap.dll), DCOM Server Process Launcher (Dcomlaunch).

Did as requested, made no difference,windows security centre still turned off, etc. alex

Run the following commands in CMD as Admin, hitting Enter after each:

Code:
sc start DCOMLaunch
sc start RpcSs
sc config Winmgmt start= auto
sc start Winmgmt
sc config Wscsvc start= auto
sc start wscsvc

Sorry but I don't know how to do these commands as my knowledge of software is poor, but please explain if you will, thank you, Alex

Press Start, type in cmd.exe, right-click it and select run as administrator. When done, copy and paste each of these commands into the windows that appears. Make sure you press Enter after each command.

Thanks very much, the sc start Winmgmt start service failed 1083
the sc start wscsvc the dependency service failed to start 1068

Farbar Service Scanner
1. Download Farbar Service Scanner from here, and move it to the Desktop
2. Right-click on FSS.exe > Run as Administrator
3. Checkmark everything, and click Scan

4. Once it finishes, Notepad will open FSS.txt on your Desktop. Copy and paste everything in it in your next reply

Decided there were bad sectors on my hard drive so had a new ssd drive fitted ,everything ok now, thanks very much for your help and patience Alex
