My problem started after a Windows Update a while ago(after which I disabled Windows auto update). Since I use the respective PC to work, I couldn't waste time trying to fix it since it was somewhat usable(clearly a mistake). After installing it, PC became very slow randomly, specially when booting up and turning off. I was looking for a solution and found out about the SFC scan because a corrupted system file could be the reason. When running it, the following "error" appears:

[FONT=&quot]2018-02-26 17:39:46, Info CSI 000002ef [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:20{10}]"usbhub.sys" of usb.inf, Version = 6.1.7601.18328, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type = [l:24{12}]"driverUpdate", TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, file is missing

After running the SFCFix the corrupted file was repaired and SFC scan no longer shows any corrupted file, but the main problem wasn't solved and the PC is still very slow at previously said situations(it took 30min to boot just now).

OBS: I do not own any anti-viruses or anti-malwares on my PC. Although the problem started after a Windows Update, should I get one of them?

Hello and welcome! I think the problem you are having may be hardware related. Have you checked your HDD health?

No, I didn't. How can I check that?

GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to test your hard drive health with GSmartControl:

  • Download GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
  • Execute gsmartcontrol.exe; Let the install complete and launch the programme.
  • Identify your drive in the list, and double-click on it to bring up it's window (usually you'll find your drive by it's size or it's brand name);
  • Go in the Perform Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete);
  • Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Please copy and paste these results in your next reply;
  • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, copy and paste their name in your next reply (or take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply);

Now I'm getting an entire new issue. Windows won't load anymore, and even when I try on safe mode it fails. When I hit 'safe mode' it starts to load some files and stops in 'CLASSPNP.SYS' for a few seconds until it goes BSOD. I only want to load it once to save my files and then format or whatever now.

Yikes! This likely means that your HDD was indeed damaged as I suspected. My next suggestion would be booting from a live media and trying to access the files from there (if they are not too damaged).

I'll see what I can do then. Thank you very much for the replies anyway! :)

Sure thing. If you will be reinstalling, I'd definitely recommend investing in an SSD if you can afford it.
