Hi,

I've got a computer with clusters on the HDD fails. (sorry for ma bad english, it's not my 1st langage).
I've done a ghost and put it on a new HDD but some files are missing and W7 64 SP1 works but but some programs wrong.
I can't repair it (try with the CD) can't upgrade to W10 (something wrong),...
SFC can't repair all files.
SFCFIX said SURT total detected corruption count: 2707

Need advice to try to repare it.

Thx for your help

Re: [W7 X64 SP1] SURT & SFC corruption

Hello and welcome!

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put

tags around the log to break up the text.

Dropbox - SFCFix.zip

Afterwards, please run SURT and attach CheckSUR.log

  • Right-click the Start button and click Commandprompt (Run as administrator).
  • A Window appears. Typ CHKDSK and press the enter key.
  • Wait until CHKDSK is finished.
  • Download ListChkdskResult.exe by SleepyDude and save it on your desktop.
  • Rightclick
    58a60a47ed1bd-ListChkdskResult.PNG
ListChkdskResult.exe and click Run as administrator. On completion the tool will save a textfile called ListChkdskResult.txt on your desktop.
  • Attach this textfile to your next reply.

1. Download the Media Creation Tool and save this to your desktop. Go ahead and run this as well. Note: Click the Download tool now button when you get to this link.
2. Accept the License Agreement
3. Download the ISO file to your desktop.
4. Double-click on the ISO and then run the setup to try and upgrade your machine.

We want to get the ISO so that you don't have to keep downloading which can take hours.

So better after this but now a big problem with .net framework....
Try several things as dotnetfx_cleanup_tool, repairtool, standalone package....

No way to repair or reinstall it.

Any idea?

Thx

You haven't explained really :) You just told me there was a problem. Provide details please. Which version is installed? Which version is shown under Programs and Features?

no version under Programs and Features. I try many things to uninstall .net framework but noway.
I try uninstall, reinstall, repair, .... NOK
try with WU (cause there's .net framework update) but error 643.
try with offline package: error
....

You mean you have done a repair install? Try upgrading to Windows 10 using Media Creation Tool then and let me know if it works. That would likely be the fastest way.
