Approximately 70 percent of U.S. adults have a high-speed Internet connection at home, up from 66 percent last year, according to stats from the Pew Internet & American Life Project.

Pew said the jump was "small but statistically significant." But not surprisingly, those with higher education are more likely to have broadband access at home.
