Hello and welcome to the forum

The results that I was looking for were not found in that log, can you please run SFC /SCANNOW and upload a new CBS.log as soon as SFC has finished?

Also if you have the following files, please attach to your next post:
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log

Thanks

Alex

Good news is CBS log is not showing any corruptions:
Code:

POQ 142 ends.

Lets work on the IE issue now. What is the update KB you are trying to install?

Windows Update Log

  1. Click on the Start button -> Inside the search box copy and paste the following command
    cmd /c copy %windir%\WindowsUpdate.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\WindowsUpdate.txt"
  2. Please go to your desktop and attach WindowsUpdate.txt to your next post

Found the error inside the log:

Code:

That error is not appearing inside the CBS log, I was hoping it might show some indicates as to were the install is failing.

Can you please upload any logs found inside C:\Windows\Logs that mention IE.
