KB2791765 & KB3107998 keep failing to install on a Windows 7 machine. The error code given is 800B0100. There were initially 3 updates that kept failing but I ran the SURT and was able to resolve 1 of the 3 before coming across this web site. I've followed the instructions for the technical professional "How to fix errors found in the CheckSUR.log" doc, to no avail. I ran the SFC Scan and it did not find any violations. So, here is the info I've collected, I hope someone can help me.

Download SFCFix.exe (by Niemiro) and save it to the Desktop
Download the file SFCFIX.ZIP, attached below, and save this to your Desktop
On your Desktop, make sure you have the two files:
SFCFix.exe and
SFCFIX.zip
Drag the file SFCFIX.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it
The SFCFix tool will process the script
Upon completion, a log file SFCFix.txt should be created on your Desktop
Open the SFCFix.txt log and copy & paste the contents to your post

System Update Readiness Tool (SUR)
Download the System Update Readiness Tool (x64) and save it to some place, its a big download and eventually we need to run it several times, please keep the file
Run the tool. Its like an Update but it can take a long time to do the work. You will get an Installation Complete screen when it's done running
Please attach to your post the log from the following location: C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
Note: If the file is too big please Zip it and upload the ZIP file to a service like Dropbox, Google Drive, One Drive or upload to SendSpace and just provide the link for the file here.
Ok. Every time SUR runs it tries to fix things, on the previous fix we just put files on the expected folders for SUR to find, now we need to run the tool again to actually fix the damaged files also the tool will not check all the areas if problems are detected on the initial checks.
The log looks good. Now force Windows to search for new updates, if it lists some updates labeled "Preview of..." skip/hide them, try only to install other updates related with Security or Monthly Rollups.
Please report the result. In case of errors report the KB number and any error codes.
