Current firmware for your crucial CT500MX200SSD1 is MU01.
On crucial website, MU05 is available (25 May 2018).
Crucial.com: support, ssd support (click), "Choose an SSD for more information", MX200.
Read carefully the warning (I'll report it here) and the firmware installation guide (it's a PDF file, downloadable from them):

Done firmware upgrade. Current version MU05. Laptop still experiencing high latency.

Download & run Intel Driver & Support Assistant and see if it offers updates.

Launch these commands (from an elevated command prompt):
dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
sfc /scannow
If they reports no problem, ok. Otherwise, open a new topic in the windows update sub-forum (available here in sysnative).

Intel Driver & Suppot Assistant reported no new update available.

dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
sfc /scannow

Cleanup-image says "No component store corruption detected.
sfc /scannow says "windows resource protection did not find any integrity violation"

what do you by i need to open new topic in the windows update subforum? does my problem has anything to do with windows update?
