Re: BSOD Help Requested Please

Hi richardhanni. :welcome:

Did you install/uninstall hardware/software before the bsods?
Are you using windows firewall, McAfee firewall or both? (I don't know if McAfee disables it...)
Did you use glary utilities registry or empty folder modules?
Farstone totalrecovery pro version?
Other details?

BugCheck EF, {ffff8c0f0ac43080, 0, 0, 0} Probably caused by : RPCRT4.dll

Re: BSOD Help Requested Please

Did you install/uninstall hardware/software before the bsods? No.
Are you using windows firewall, McAfee firewall or both? (I don't know if McAfee disables it...) McAfee Yes. Windows Yes. (Hadn't realized Windows Defender was still turned on. Says it's being managed by McAfee.)
Did you use glary utilities registry or empty folder modules? No.
Farstone totalrecovery pro version? No.
Other details? BSOD seems to be very random. Sometimes happens when I'm using it. Other times it will sit there for hours (or over night) unattended when it happens.

Re: BSOD Help Requested Please

Total Recovery Pro 10.0.11.2
I had no idea it was installed. Came with the computer.
I need to run thru this thing and remove all the bloatware.

Thanks for helping me with this. You are very much appreciated.

Sorry to leave this hanging for so long. I just got done hosting a large conference and haven't had time to work on this problem. I had downloaded the software you suggested and was waiting for the conference to complete before proceeding as I was needing to use the laptop at the conference. As it turns out, the problem up and disappeared a few day past your last post. Go figure. I'm thinking a driver or software updated itself automatically which made the issue go away. Thanks for all your help xilolee! You are very much appreciated. If the problem stays away for a month, I will mark the thread as solved. Thanks again!!!
