Hi.
I have a problem with Win 10 boot after Meltdown and Spectre updates installed. I have Sandy Bridge-E CPU which is under danger group of those who have problems with that patch. I guess this was the first reason for my problem.
My solution while waiting for a working fix was to restore from Restore point but now it's helpless. Especially because restore points suddenly vanished without asking me.
Sympthom: endless boot loop -> windows restore, and so on. All actual updates were installed before I've got bootloop on friday (2nd of Feb).
First time I've faced the loop I've removed updates using cmd at the windows restore:
DISM /Image:\ /Get-Packages
found those which were installed on January (2) and february (1) and removed it.

PC booted fine, I've applied two registry keys Microsoft advised to add to disable Spectre fix but next morning I've got the same picture (Windows restore). I guess windows updates were installed at night automatically. Tried to do the same (remove using DISM) but it no longer helped.
Booted with DaRT USB and uninstalled those updates (yes, all of them were installed again). Reboot - no result. After several tries to uninstall updates it's only one left - KB4058702 (05.01.18) but it is undeletable now (error 0x8000ffff). By the way the image version downgraded after I've removed those updates from 16299.192 to 16299.125.
Tried to download msu files of updates (16299.125 and 16299.192), extract cab file and install it manually using DISM /add-package - still 0x8000ffff. Any activity with updates - 0x8000ffff.
Tried to copy hives from windir\system32\config\regback\ - those files have exactly that time before updates were installed at night. No result.
Tried to check HLKM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing\Sessions Pending - 'Exclusive' and 'TotalSessionPhases' equals 0.
I've even got new HDD, installed clean 1709, installed all updates and system is working so I can assume the problem now is not in my CPU but the system is corrupted and needs to be restored. I have a lot of software installed which would be missed so I can't reinstall Windows.
Don't know what to do next and how to get my PC working.
CBS and DISM logs from system drive - I guess there is an opportunity to see what happened that night when updates came back. + DISM log from windows restore when I tried to uninstall that update. DropMeFiles – free one-click file sharing service
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
