After getting this error I have directly followed the steps on the Windows Update forum posting instructions page, so I have run an sfc scan which resulted in:

after that I ran SFCFix, resulting in:
SFCFix version 3.0.0.0 by niemiro.

Microsoft Windows 10 Build 15063 - amd64
Not using a script file.
AutoAnalysis::
SUMMARY: No corruptions were detected.
AutoAnalysis:: directive completed successfully.
Successfully processed all directives.
Failed to generate a complete zip file. Upload aborted.
SFCFix version 3.0.0.0 by niemiro has completed.
Currently storing 0 datablocks.
Finish time: 2017-12-09 14:08:37.001

After that, still having no luck with the update I zipped up my CBS (which I think I uploaded correctly) and made this thread.
Thanks in advance for any help :)
