  • Windows 10 since day 1
  • It wasn't pre installed
  • 3 years old
  • The system is about 1 year, since I formatted everything.
  • Yes but using the windows 10 option of "reinstalling"
  • Intel i7 7700 3.60ghz
  • 8GB DDR4-2400(1200Mhz) Kingston KHX2400C15/8G
  • Radeon Rx 570 Series 4gb GDDR5, MSI.
  • Gigabyte H110M-H-CF
  • Evga B1 Series 100-B1-0600-KR 600 W
  • Driver verifier is active, what do I have to do with it?
  • I'm not using any security software other than windwos defender and it is deactivated
  • No proxy
  • No Disk image tools
  • No overclocking
The problems have started since I've recently installed the GPU. I use my pc to work with audio (doing recordings and mixing/ mastering), I've have never had a problem with the internal intel graphics. Also I were able to load huge proyects with pretty heavy requirements but now I can't even open them without the audio distorting for no aparent reason.

I've tried to: Reinstall GPU drivers. Uninstalling Intel HD graphic drivers. Unsintalling realtek audio drivers. Uninstalling AMD HD audio drivers. Reinstalling the interface drivers (Scarlett 18i20 2nd gen). The only thing that I didn't try is removing the GPU but I need it for videos

I just can't work like this, I seems that nothing works I swear I'm gonna cry. I can't work with the projects and I have to do extra works since I can't load them properly, it's really frustrating.

Right now I'm running my pc on safe mode because it started to blue screen for whatever reason. I just might format the SSD and start windows again. If someone could help me it would be great.

Try to update the following item in device manager, system devices: Intel(R) Xeon(R) E3 - 1200/1500 v5/6th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) PCIe Controller

It should exist a v6/7th version of it and I think you should see it instead of the previous one, given that you are using an intel 7th gen cpu...

Hello sir. Did you resolve this issue? I've been battling this for months, but really started to get hellbent on fixing it the past couple weeks. If you have found a proposed solution on any forum online, chances are I've tried it. and tonight I finally did a totally clean install of Windows 10 after wiping all my hard drives. I found your post for searching specifically for my mobo which is a h110m-s2. I don't know if yours is exactly the same but my issue is def a product of high DPC latency which can be seen in LatencyMon, the audio glitches/stutters correspond with latency spikes. If you figured it out I'd definitely like to know how! Thanks
