Click to expand... I was hoping you could force the xp_2000 version. You'll need to temporarily disable driver signing in Win 10. How to Disable Driver Signature Verification on 64-Bit Windows 8 or 10 (So That You Can Install Unsigned Drivers) Other than that you may be forced to buy an updated printer if SLeepyDude's suggestion doesn't work. Security vulnerabilities grow exponentially with old hardware and drivers and are why they eventually quit supporting them.

One line per page regardless of what I send to the printer. Fortunately I have another printer that I can use. I was mainly wanting to use all the ink in the HP Photosmart before I took it to be recycled. But I've spent enough time on this project and really I should be helping my wife with housework rather than devoting more time this to futile task. (It briefly provided a good excuse not to do housework, but that can only work for so long.) Thanks to all who have contributed. In appreciation I will make a donation.

I checked out the DL myself it's safe.
