[SOLVED] WPA closes upon launch!

I suggest trying a Clean Boot: How to perform a clean boot in Windows then test WPA and see what happens. If it runs then enable one or two items at a tiume to find the one that is causing the problem.

Why not use Media Creation Tool to burn a DVD or flash drive of the latest Windows then use that as a Repair tool. You can boot it as if you were doing an install but take the Repair path instead of install to use the available tools or press Alt+F10 at eh first window presented to get to a...

IE 10 and IE 11 connected to internet but unable do go to any site

82 degrees here in sunny Fla today :hysterical: My brother runs XP Pro as a VB guest under Windows 7 Home X64 because he likes the older Card program (Hallmark??) and it doesn't work under Win 7 direct.

Windows 8.1 Upgrade from Windows 8: Automount Disabled

I was curious as I'd never heard of automount. I also found this which I may try just for the heck of it: I wonder if that might even fix some USB mount problems??????

Oracle VirtualBox works well under Windows 8. I run a XP Pro client under it and it works well also.

Thanks Richard. I was over-ridden. I ended up doing a restore to factory late this afternoon, before I saw your post. I'm sorry to have wasted your time on this, I really thought the owner wanted to fix the problem rather than start over. After the restore I was able to install 136 updates...
