Re: SURT showing errors from previously removed avg Tried two updates picked at random, one update KB3006137, one security KB2984976. Both failed with same error 8E5E03FB. The security update did a download then failed. The W7 update tried/created a restore point then failed. I am leaving for...

Re: SURT showing errors from previously removed avg Hi PeterJ, I was looking through my installed updates today and found that since I turned automatic updates back on on 14/02/18, There has been 10 successful updates, one being KB3035490-security fix for .NET 4.5.1. Some of my failing updates...

Re: SURT showing errors from previously removed avg I have 83 important updates pending, I just picked the top one KB4041083 and it failed with error 8E5E03FB. This was the error that led me to this forum but I thought it was the errors in SURT that were stopping the updates. Should I try some...

Hi, I was trying to get WiDi working but required update. Discovered windows updates were off and when enabled , all are failing. After running SURT, it shows 16 errors all relating to AVG. I removed AVG from the pc last year using their removal tool(obviously not fully). I am running W7 home...
