sfc /scannow ran and completed. No issues! Yay!! That update from Microsoft was very timely. Thank you for the help! Steve

Well it kept freezing up the computer when trying to install it. However, I left it overnight and and it succeeded. So hopefully this new version corrected the windows update issue. Guess I won't know until there are new updates issues. For anyone else that tries that link above, the button...

I am trying to install update KB4093112 Cumulative update but It gets to 25% install then gives error 0x80070246. I also tried manually installing it but that didn't work either. Not sure if related but I installed some bad memory a few weeks ago that was causing the computer to crash. Maybe...
