Worked like a charm. You do not know how much I appreciate you helping me. I was at my wits end and tried everything that I could think of. I literally was about one day away from nuke and pave.

Well, for some reason my cbs is not showing to be uploaded even though I did it after the post. If it didn't upload please let me know and I will try again.

[SOLVED] Windows 7 "Restart to install updates" loop

I have tried the microsoft fix it tool and the windowsupdatediagnostic.diagcab. I even ran the reset.cmd from Microsoft support page. No luck at all. Will be uploading CBS through the large file uploader. Windows update is pretty much completely reset but I still keep getting the notification.
