[SOLVED] DISM hangs at 40%

I downloaded the tool and am creating the ISO now. Was unsure if the upgrade will go through, since I didn't see any system tray icon that prompted me to upgrade. Despite being on Windows 8.1, Windows Update prompts me to download a 900MB odd Windows 8.1 update! What do you recommend? Shall I...

Looks like Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth is stuck at 40% for good. As before, shall I kill it to upload the CBS and DISM logs?

Have attached CBS.log (CBS - 3.zip) and dism.log. Yup, you guessed it right. Want to upgrade to Windows 10 before Microsoft seals the offer off!

[SOLVED] DISM hangs at 40%

Tried to upgrade windows 8.1 and I got this error - "code 80073712 Windows Update ran into a problem". So ran sfc /scannow which reported to have fixed the errors. However, on running Windows Update again, I got the same error code above. So, executed DISM, only for it to land on a BSOD at 40%...
