[SOLVED] SFC can't fix MSDTC.log

It only gives me the option to download >Windows 8.1 >Windows 8.1 N >Windows 8.1 Pro >Windows 8.1 Pro N >Windows 8.1 (Single Language) What should I do? I don't know how to get the product key to download a Windows 8 iso and not an 8.1 iso

The directory C:\Windows\System32\Logfiles\Srt doesn't exist... It is my roommate's computer and I am pretty sure it came preinstalled with windows 8 and they updated to 8.1

For clarification, I used "bcdedit /enum" and it gave me the message. I know there are programs available to look at your product key, but the only way I could get to the desktop was via safemode and that seems unavailable now...

[SOLVED] SFC can't fix MSDTC.log

Well, after I saw that sfc said everything was fixed, I went into msconfig and disabled safe mode and restarted. Upon loading normally and getting to the desktop, the computer froze on me again. I restarted and went to system recovery from boot and tried to do the "bcd /edit {~~~} safemod..."...
