It took me a while to find a forum where somebody figured out the problem. Having auto update on didn't help as I wasn't aware of the change. Attached a couple of the files in CBS folder in addition to the cbs.log file.

Finally found information on how to fix the api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-0.dll issue. There was an update to an adobe sub-program (Camera Raw) that caused the problem in win7. You can't uninstall the sub-program very easily. However, you can install an older version of the sub-program...

Step 3 - I have had troubles using wbem in the past. When I entered "wmic path Win32_BIOS get SerialNumber /VALUE" it just returned "ERROR: Description = Generic failure". Nothing different from after fixes above. I just forgot a step. Get the same "ERROR...Generic failure"

I am unable to run adobe photoshop because I get system error message "The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-0.dll is missing from your computer..." I have tried running sfc /scannow, chkdsk, DISM, and sfcfix with no luck. Tried fixing by downloading...
