Oh yes, I bet you're right. Because of course the problem didn't exist initially after the fresh install but only after something was installed, most likely an update as you suggested because Win Update breaking was the first thing I noticed before the roles/feature issue. In case there was any...

Arg, I had a feeling. Ok, I tried the correct way - I created a folder inst in the update folder in SWD/Downloads and it errored out so logs below. But I notice the folder was missing the inst folder and manifest file after trying. I have the feeling it was deleted but not sure if it was after...

I did. I copied the manifest file in the SFCFix.txt to Software Distribution but there's no inst directory in that folder (screenshot of directory below):

Here you go. Just to make sure I handled the manifest correctly - I just dropped the "Manifests" folder from your zip file into that directory so let me know if that was wrong. Logs.zip - Google Drive
