Thank you for getting back to me. Below is the log from the first time I ran SFCfix with the script you sent. I then rebooted, and ran sfc /scannow - pretty much the same result as before (new CBS.log in attached zip file). I had been running SFCfix from it's own directory; I ran it from...

This has been going on for months now. The reason I am trying to fix Windows 7 is it won't let me upgrade to Windows 10. I have run SFC /scannow many times (including from bootup command prompt), and also run SFCFIX and SURT several times. I have done quite a bit of extracting and copying files...
