awww, that's ok :) Thank you for looking into it and spending the time to troubleshoot my problem. Since I didn't install this machine myself, I don't really have the original disk or image of win7ent. Luckly I do have an account on dreamspark, I'll hop on there now and see if I can get a copy...

Thanks Tom, here is the file. It's weird that it says the french file is corrupted and not the English one, assuming I read the name correctly. thank you again and let me know if you need any more info.

Thank you for your help and absolutely no need to apologize for anything, you guys are doing a very good job in helping complete strangers on the Internet. I don't think I can thank you enough. I've ran the script and here is the SFCFix.txt, but unfortunately, updates are still failing. :huh...

Thanks niemiro, your manifest files did help with the readiness tool but unfortunately I'm still having issues with updates. I downloaded a single patch file from MS, but it failed, here is the error in the event viewer: Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update...
