Thank you Aura. I think I will inflict the pain of reinstalling Windows 8.1 and upgrading to Windows 10 and then come with my begging bowl to ask how to do the redirection properly. It may be a week or two before I have it done though. Will this thread still be open?

Ahhh, now there's a question. I tried to some research before I did anything, but I'm not sure which of the following I did: Create a folder, robocopy all data from current folder, create join to new folder and delete current folder. Used the location option, which I may have found out about...

Guilty. I have a 128Gb SSD and so I want to restrict what goes there. I've redirected as much of the user area to my D: drive as I can, but I may not have done it the best right way. Microsoft make it so difficult to find out the correct way. And yesterday I tried to move the default StoreApps...
