This isn't all that astonishing when compared with images of damage from Category 3-5 hurricanes - ever more typical in Florida and the islands/countries a bit more south. What's so amazing is that this one made landfall with such strength and so much further north than normally expected...

Expect gusts starting 30 MPH and (hopefully) peaking at 35-50 MPH before it goes (hopefully not taking our power with it). My generator is on the fritz (carburator issues), so no power means dead in the water (pardon the pun). Have 2 batteries for laptop and could go to dialup (UGH!) to check...

Hi everyone, Aside from above, which wasn't possible with earlier versions, can Task Scheduler (if it exists) be used as it was in XP/Vista/W7 for MSE in a similar way with the proper codes (whatever those are in W8) to overcome limitations in the actual program but do the same thing? Thanks...
