Audio stutter/buzz every 2-4 seconds when playing audio

Taking a look at update history it doesn't seem like there's actually been anything in a while and just now i see that there are two updates available plus another optional update, which is now making me feel like installing those may even fix the problems?

unfortunately due to a misshap with my monitor while moving i've been forced to use my TV as a screen for quite some time, so it's likely that a driver was pulled when my pc detected it as an output. It would also seem that realtek as a secondary is how i switch to using my headset, not sure if...
