[SOLVED] Windows server 2022 crashing

OK, I tested the memory and lots of errors. I have new sticks on order. I stopped the test before it finished because I already had 7 errors halfway through the first run. Thanks for your help!

[SOLVED] Windows server 2022 crashing

Thanks for this, it is helpful. I will test the memory. The WSEMgt issues started after the crash. I fixed that by deleting the backup catalog. So, the machine is back to being as happy as it was before the crash. Now to track down the memory problem. A memory issue would explain a lot.

[SOLVED] Windows server 2022 crashing

Hi, I am getting intermittent crashes on Windows server 2022. I attached the sysnativefilecollection report. I have tried sfc /scannow and Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. After several runs they both are happy. The last time I tried DISM the system crashed. Any ideas? You guys...

[SOLVED] Server 2022 Bugcheck crashes. PROBLEM: CPU was running at 100%, due to powercfg hanging. FIX: KB5023705 (March 14, 2023) solved this.

Well, it turns out you might be more of an expert than you think! That was the issue. It was due to powercfg hanging. The CPU was running at 100% all the time, though, I am not sure why the fan wasn't running harder. It stayed quiet the whole time. The patch that fixed the powercfg hanging...

[SOLVED] powercfg.exe keeps restarting and using a lot of CPU

I applied the update and I can confirm it fixes the problem. I can run powercfg /requests from the command prompt and it comes right back. You should be good to go over the weekend.

OK, thanks for that info. I have posted on Microsoft's forum, but I think I will try to escalate this since it is a Server 2022 issue.

Actually, I run CrashPlanPro also. I checked and powercfg /requests hangs from the cmd prompt. Looks like we are in the same boat. There is either an issue with powercfg or a conflict with CrashPlan.

I tried the above link. I removed the machine from the domain, put it back in and logged in with my domain account. Logging in with the domain account has not been the issue. The issue is that the connector can't log into the WSE 2016 server, so I don't get monitoring or backup. There...
