[SOLVED] Error when trying to update to windows 10

Thank you so much. it took me a few tries, as it did crash once or twice in the middle (I actually had to leave the USB in until the end), but I've now successfully upgraded. So far the other problems with windows explorer crashing and so forth have not returned. Thank you again!

I am traveling and do not currently have my product key available, so it looks like I will unfortunately only be able to try this in a couple of weeks. If I upgrade to windows 10 from a clean boot will I not lose my saved files?
