[SOLVED] Another Configuration registry database corrupted

Hi zcomputerwiz, It seems that we both have the right idea, as the system is corrupted, and I have a friend at HP, we've taken it back to Windows 8, wiped away 10, and started again. I thank you for your kind help and expertise, and will remain part of the forum. Cheers! Gerry
