thanks for the quick response! I found one entry in the device manager under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers: Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller and I can safely remove remove that one? (is there any other data I could provide, besides the mini-dumps?)
