Hello, uninstalling SP1 didn't work. I also did an upgrade install from Windows 7 DVD, then I tried to upgrade to Windows 10 from there with the exact same result. The only alternative that I have is to do a fresh install, I'm afraid, and I think it doesn't worth the effort of installing all...

Hello Brian, still the same thing. I disconnected everything even the USB network adapter (once it was downloaded) and still the "Something happened error". I'm thinking... The main drive is connected to a SATA3 PCI-Express Card... may it be the cause? You can find an extract of the CBS.log...
