latest windows update has put my pc into a shut down loop moments after login

Hi Xilolee Thanks for taking the time to reply. Could I clarify a few things. My pc is a tablet laptop hybrid and although it's band new it was probably built 2013. There is no CD ROM. But it does have full size USB2. I have downloaded the 8.1 32bit file. Perhaps I should have chosen the 8 32...

I have a new Samsung ATIV 500T and yesterday I updated some of the unessential windows updates they would do no harm. Well I was very wrong. And can not find a way around to fix this issue. Moments after powering up usually just after logging in the PC shows the words "shutting down" I have...
