Marking the thread as solved! Windows Updates are fully functioning now after 1GB / 75 Updates that were installed without a hitch! I still have 3GB to go, but at this point, I'm pretty sure that they'll all be installed successfully! Thanks so much, BrianDrab! As for the Academy, I'll think...

Update : The other batch that was about 300MB big has been successfully installed! Will go for a 1GB update this time, will mark the thread as resolved if it all goes well. Thanks for the help, really!

Okay, so interesting result this time. After a clean boot operation, DISM got up to 40% once more. But after about 30 mins or so, DISM failed, showing an error : 0x80240021. What should I do next?

The last time I ran DISM, it was at 40% for 4 hours+. I'm not sure if it was the same error message, but let me run it for some time then.

Thanks for the reply. As of right now, I'm focused on gaming and not sure if Windows 10 will suit my needs, as I've read a lot in the forums that there's still a bunch of issues that show up on Windows 10. Driver-wise, I won't get that as I have the 1151 Chipset Mobo so I can upgrade to it...
