Okay may be onto something. It looks like the numpties who built the computer set it up to overclock the processor at maximum. The 3.3ghz processor has actually been running at 4.7Ghz the entire time. Processor was getting quite hot as a result (70C+ whenever it was doing anything, sometimes...

Attempting to solve BSOD error, now can't make computer boot at all

I just had a crash while running driver verifier, but it just said the usual 'Uncorrectable hardware error.' I've attached the dump file just in case it's possible to find something out from it. Edit: Xilolee, what am I looking for on HWiNFO? I'm not sure.

Thanks Xilolee I'll try that when I have chance. Did the HDD check for my solid state and that seems fine, SSDLife said it's at 100%. Also ran a memory test for as long as I could today. It only managed to do 5 passes in 7 hours, but there were no errors in that time, which I guess while not...

Okay I'm running Driver Verifier again, this time with everything but rzpmgrk selected. This time I can get the computer to start normally. Will keep it running for a while and see what happens.

Update: Figured it out. Looks like I needed to keep spamming F8 after I chose the C drive from the first F8 screen (which just gave me a list of boot options) and then I finally got to the system repair screen for the C drive. Have access to the computer again now, phew. I'll see if I can update...

Thanks for the response. I'm about to leave for a short holiday but I do recall seeing where to stop the system restarting on BSOD, so I'm confident I can get the driver name from there (if not I'll just take a quick photo on my phone lol). Once I'm back in about a week or so I'll go through it...

Sorry for slow response had to get some sleep After choosing 'safe mode' on the windows didn't shut down properly screen I see it loading the drivers before it goes blank. I left it for 5 minutes + but didn't see anything. I'll turn it on again now and leave it a bit longer

Um, so I was going through the 'things to do while waiting for a reply' and ran the verify programme as instructed, and now I can't get the PC to boot at all without a BSOD, and if I try to do it in safemode I just get no output through the monitor at all. How do I get around this?
