Unable to install cumulative updates - Windows 11 23H2

I was able to get this resolved through the instructions at this link: It appears windows had somehow not created the EFI partition properly when I installed windows on this SSD (because there were other drives connected? unsure). I needed to wipe and recreate the EFI on the boot drive.

Since installing 23H2 in fall of 2023, I have not been able to install any cumulative updates as far as I'm aware. They would initially appear to install correctly while windows was booted, but once the system was rebooted to finish install it would always get stuck on boot and eventually have...
