Thanks, for now i can install some software that wouldn't install before because of the pending restart. That's a relief ! Here is the result :

[SOLVED] Windows Update permanently ask for a computer restart

So now i'm checking my update history, but there's nothing in there, and i had no messages about updates being installed when i rebooted. If i check for updates, it says Windows Update cannot check for updates as I need to restart the computer so that a previous installation can be completed...

Sorry i can't find a way to edit my post, and i need to restart between some steps. Step 1 : sfc / scannow Completed, everything is fine. Step 2 : System Update Readiness Tool - Scan Completed, but no change. 105 Errors - 97 Fixed Here is the CheckSUR Log : Download CheckSUR zip Step 3 ...

Hi, First of all, here is the file asked for in "How to fix Windows Update Error Code 0x80073712" Download COMPONENTS zip I installed windows 7 on my computer not so long ago, and didn't wanted to move to windows 10. However, the update started and forced me to use a programm to get rid of it...
